Since 1973 our company has created custom home organizational solutions to suit the needs, styles, and budgets of the region’s residents. Our talented design team has a deep commitment to their craft and brings more than 100 years of combined experience to our projects.
Larry and his wife Audrey owned Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets from 2000 to 2024. As President of the company, Larry charted Valet’s direction and its substantial growth during his tenure. As an industry leader, he has participated in peer networks across the country and is a past President of the National Closet Group. Larry loves turning homeowners’ organizational aspirations into reality through exceptional design and 5-Star execution and service. He also takes pride in building a company with an aligned vision and shared values in which team members can fulfill their professional goals with a quality work/life balance.
Prior to Valet, Larry received a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Southern California and then spent 18 years working in his family’s metals recycling business that dated back to 1886. Larry and Audrey have two grown children and are now embracing life as empty nesters. They reside in Los Gatos and recently enjoyed applying their 20 years of experience in the home improvement industry to building the home of their dreams.
Robert has been a designer for over 20 years and has been with Valet since 2003. He is a 1983 graduate of the Academy of the Republic Belarus, and immigrated to the United States in 1989. Robert’s interests include swimming, skiing, backpacking and international travel. His customers love his design process and ability to help them visualize the best and most elegant use of their space.

Mark joined the Valet Team in 1999. His years of design experience with Valet together with a 17 year background in the home improvement trades gives him a wealth of knowledge that is rarely seen. Mark and his wife Sandie have been married since 1979 and reside in San Jose with their son. Mark’s interest included racquetball, skiing and golf. He also enjoys spending time on the Monterey Peninsula. Both homeowners and contractors value his complete understanding of all aspects of construction
Karin joined Valet in 2010 and brings a unique combination of marketing and design experience to our team. Karin graduated from UCLA and enjoyed a successful career as a sales and marketing executive. She later earned an interior design degree to pursue her creative inclinations and passion for space planning. Karin has a special focus serving interior designers and custom home builders and their clients. Karin excels at listening to customers, understanding their needs and translating that into a beautiful and functional space. She grew up on the peninsula, loves to travel, ski and spend time with her husband and young adult children.

Marina joins Valet Custom from a high-tech career in 3D CAD architecture program sales and development. With background in architecture, interior design and professional organizing, Marina brings a unique approach to the design process for custom cabinets and closets. Because she focuses on creating systems for the perfect use of space, her designs are planned and executed for each client to allow them to invest in the immediate function of the room, as well as planning for the space into the future. When she is not helping her clients get and stay organized, Marina enjoys gardening and community projects as well as playing at the beach with her husband and sons.
Joining Valet in early 2018, Cynthia enjoys working closely with each customer to design individual and elegant organizational solutions that maximize room space and functionality while also adding her personal eye for beauty and style. Past experience includes the design and installation of commercial telecommunication systems, sales operations, and event planning. Cynthia holds a bachelor's degree in speech communication from San Diego State University. For the past 20+ years, she has loved living in Danville with her husband, Tom, and raising their two children.
Catrina joined the Valet team in March 2019. She comes with an extensive background in interior design, home staging and hospitality. Catrina’s passion is to enrichen her customers’ lives through beautiful and functional designs. Through her superior listening skills and attention to detail, she determines her customer’s needs and creates an exceptional design that works with their unique space. She holds an Interior Design Certificate from West Valley College. In Catrina’s free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, going to the beach and spending time with her daughter.
Lavanya joined Valet in the Summer of 2020. She comes from an IT background, but has always had a passion for interior design. When she left the IT field, she embraced her design passion full-time. Lavanya is extremely knowledgeable and has extensive experience with managing complex projects. She is enthusiastic and enjoys integrating her vast experience with her customers desires to make exceptional designs.
With a background in industrial design and anthropology, Vimal brings a unique lens to Valet’s design process. He deeply understands how cabinets play an integral role in constructing the home-life experience. He focuses on enhancing spaces by balancing the customer’s needs, functionality, and beauty. When he is not designing at Valet, Vimal is building an urban farm, training jiu jitsu, and perfecting biriyani recipes with his wife.
